Seacrets Inspirations is the evolution of Seacrets of Greece which has been active in the production and standardization of primary production products since 2000, based in Kalamata, Messinia.
We wanted to create an identity that from the first glance would evoke thoughts about Greece and Greek food culture under a common denominator of flavors, colors and smells from a Greek and ‘cathartic’ past.
The name of the brand, Sea and Secrets is a play on words, we tied the blue of the sea with the ‘secrets’ of Mediterranean flavours and their endless inspiration.
The family has been cultivating olives since the 1950’s The olive groves are located in the area of Pylos in the wider region of Navarino and we standardize only extra virgin olive oil of the Koroneiki variety.
The olives are hand-picked in October and transported to a certified olive mill. The olive oil is stored in stainless steel tanks, then laboratory tested and finally bottled in our company’s bottling plant.
In the last few years, apart from extra virgin olive oil, olives and calamine paste, the Seacrets Inspirations product family includes selected Greek products such as honey from Mani, salt blossom from the rocks of Mani, aromatic natural sea salt and aromatic herbs from Taygetos.
The salt blossom from the rocks of Mani and the aromatic herbs of Taygetos such as oregano, tea blossom, sage and thyme are hand-picked.
We collect the raw material directly from the producers and then.
in our laboratory we dry, blend and package the herbs manually with their aromas and beneficial properties intact.
Our collection this year is completed by four handmade preservative-free jams of excellent quality strawberry, apricot, calamari fig and raspberry superfoods with amazing antioxidant and vitamin properties.
Honoring the Messinian land our purpose is the support we show daily since 2000 to local farmers having created a mutual relationship of respect and mutual support as we aim through our choices, raw material evaluation and quality control, in the development of the primary sector and the people of our region.
The Mediterranean Taste Awards are now a benchmark and we are proud to have been awarded the Gold Award for Pasta Elias Kalamon. The award is a recognition of continued dedication and good practices, especially for small businesses. It also highlights ‘functional’ foods, i.e. those which, in addition to their nutrients, contain added properties with specific benefits for the health of the consumer and the benefits of the Mediterranean diet.
